<p>T同學的申請故事,始于一次對“本專業(yè)”的重新發(fā)現。</p>
<p> </p>
<p>在上海外國語大學波斯語專業(yè)就讀的他,<span style="color: #0086d1;">曾一度將自己的小語種背景視為一種局限</span>。</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“外語的本質屬性是工具,在大多數情況下,光學語言是不夠的。”帶著這樣的認知,第一次申請研究生的T同學,選擇將目光完全投向輔修過的新聞學領域,希望借此“擺脫”原有的學科標簽。然而,由于24fall的申請時機偏晚、雅思也未能考出理想成績,他最終未能取得最心儀的項目。</p>

<p>那段沉寂與反思的日子,反而成了轉折的開始。</p>

<p>在準備第二次申請期間,<strong>他與校內導師及研究機構的老師多次交流,逐漸打開思路。</strong>一位老師的話點醒了他:“其實現在做網絡自媒體,不一定非得是新傳專業(yè)出身。”</p>

<p><span style="color: #0086d1;">這句話如同一道驚雷,他突然意識到自己過去可能陷入了一個誤區(qū)</span>——在媒體這條賽道上,他既缺乏系統(tǒng)的新傳訓練,也沒有足夠的實踐經驗去與其他申請者競爭。而<strong>真正屬于他的優(yōu)勢</strong>,其實一直安靜地躺在他的成績單上:<strong>那個被他一度輕視的、名為“波斯語”的專業(yè)。</strong></p>

<p>“我們有時候總想成為大多數人,卻忘了‘少數’本身可能就是一種力量。”T同學后來這樣回憶。</p>

<p>他坦言,自己和班里不少同學一樣,曾不愿做“少數中的少數”,直到重新審視自己的專業(yè)背景,才明白波斯語不僅是一門語言,更是一把鑰匙——能打開的區(qū)域研究、國際關系、跨文化傳播等領域,恰恰<strong>需要這種“少數”的積累</strong>。</p>

<p>帶著這一認知,他再次與指南者團隊的老師溝通,明確表達了希望轉向國際關系與中東研究方向。老師迅速理解了他的思路轉變,并推薦了多個高度契合的項目。</p>

<p>這一次,T同學在選校和研究方向上也更加從容。他仔細查閱課程大綱、比對不同學校的師資力量,甚至打印出資料請專業(yè)老師點評,一步步<span style="color: #0086d1;">將“小語種”的背景,轉化為跨學科申請中的獨特優(yōu)勢</span>。</p>

<p>最終,他成功獲得了<strong>香港城市大學 國際研究文學碩士</strong>的錄取。甚至放棄了港科、KCL等幾所QS前50的名校offer。關于這個選擇,他并不后悔,因為<span style="color: #0086d1;">“自己真正需要的并非是一紙名校的光環(huán),而是要找到最適合自己的道路。”</span></p>

<p>如果說T同學的故事是關于“回歸”與“發(fā)現”,那么H同學的旅程則更像一場主動的<strong>“探索”</strong>與<strong>“重建”</strong>。</p>

<p>2022年,高考發(fā)揮并未如愿的H同學,選擇留在本省,進入華南理工大學。<span style="color: #0086d1;">作為歷史類考生,她在有限的專業(yè)中選擇了一個看起來不那么“初衷”的方向——旅游管理。</span>那時的她也許不會想到,正是這段看似妥協的開始,反而成了她重新認識自己、尋找更適合路徑的契機。</p>

<p><strong>初入大學的日子并不輕松。</strong>疫情未散,課程枯燥,未來模糊。她坦言,那是一段對大學“祛魅”的時光,曾經的期待與現實碰撞,讓她一度找不到方向。</p>

<p>轉機出現在大一時參加的一系列校友沙龍中。<span style="color: #0086d1;">那些比她大幾歲的師兄師姐,真誠地分享著關于保研、留學、商科就業(yè)的親身經歷給了她很多啟發(fā)。</span>她說:“在朋友圈看到他們的日常,我好像也看到了自己可能抵達的未來。”</p>

<p><strong>就這樣,留學的種子悄然生根。</strong>她了解到華南理工的學生在申請港校時具備一定優(yōu)勢,而自己中上的成績也給了她足夠的底氣。<span style="color: #0086d1;">在專業(yè)選擇上,她曾對新聞傳播懷有執(zhí)念,卻在與朋友的交流中被一語點醒</span>:“你是就業(yè)導向,不如試試商科。”</p>

<p>這句話讓她重新審視自己的位置。<strong>旅游管理本身屬于泛商科范疇</strong>,課程中已包含市場營銷、經濟學、統(tǒng)計學等基礎商科內容。同時她也發(fā)現,自己在學習這些課程時格外投入,為進一步夯實基礎,她在大一下學期輔修了金融學,并在相關課程中取得了比本專業(yè)更優(yōu)異的成績。這一切都讓她確信:<span style="color: #0086d1;">商科,才是她真正該走的路</span>。</p>

<p><span style="color: #0086d1;">大二下學期,在廣交會的實習時,她主動選擇了與市場營銷最相關的展館銷售崗位。</span>在一個月的高強度工作中,代表官方做調研、對接供應商、尋找潛在合作方,甚至為國際客商答疑解惑。<strong>這段經歷讓她真切感受到貿易的活力與商業(yè)的實感</strong>,也讓她最終下定決心:留學,就要去港大學Marketing——去更開放的環(huán)境里,接觸多元的文化,系統(tǒng)構建自己的商業(yè)知識版圖。</p>

<p>與前兩位同學相比,M同學的故事始于一種更為普遍的狀態(tài)——<strong>迷茫</strong>。</p>
<p> </p>
<p>在蘭州大學哲學系的日子里,他坦言:<span style="color: #0086d1;">“在拿到港中文的offer前,我并未形成清晰的未來規(guī)劃。”</span>學術、考公、就業(yè),幾條截然不同的道路在他腦中盤旋,伴隨著外界<strong>“文科無用”的論調</strong>,共同織成一張焦慮的網,<strong>一度讓他感到窒息</strong>。</p>

<p>還好他很快意識到,困在信息繭房里空想毫無意義,必須主動向外尋找答案。于是,他開始了謹慎而系統(tǒng)的探索。</p>

<p>他首先向學院老師和一位保研至清華的學長請教鉆研學術的可能性。</p>
<p> </p>
<p>“文科縮招、科研經費減少導致的激烈同行競爭,前期高投入與后期低薪資的失衡。現有環(huán)境下學術項目落地的低概率。這些都讓我對學術道路有了清醒認知。</p>
<p> </p>
<p>我開始意識到,學術研究需面對的長期積累與不確定性,以及看似光鮮背后的巨大精神壓力。”</p>
<p> </p>
<p>此后,他開始關注身邊同學的選擇<strong>,深入權衡考公、直接就業(yè)與留學三條路徑</strong>。</p>
<p> </p>
<p>他觀察到,考公之路雖能提供穩(wěn)定的港灣,但“千人競一崗”的局面讓這座獨木橋異常擁擠。而直接就業(yè),一位學長在互聯網大廠的快速成長讓他心動,但親身的實習經歷也讓他體會到光鮮背后的高壓與挑戰(zhàn)。</p>

<p><strong>正是在這多方比較與權衡中,“留學”的選項逐漸清晰。</strong></p>

<p><span style="color: #0086d1;">與一位正在準備留學的學長交流時,海外教育所提供的開闊視野和跨界可能性吸引了他。</span>更重要的是,他發(fā)現<strong>市場營銷理學碩士</strong>這個項目,<strong>能精準地彌補他在數字技能上的短板</strong>。</p>

<p>“在當下的商業(yè)環(huán)境中,社交媒體營銷、數據分析這些能力幾乎是必備的,”他分析道,“而哲學訓練給我的邏輯思辨能力,或許能成為我理解商業(yè)世界的獨特視角。”</p>

<p><strong>從哲學到商科</strong>,這一步在外人看來或許跨度很大,M同學自己也經歷過內心的猶疑:<span style="color: #0086d1;">“文科背景,真的能拼得過那些本科就是商科的同學嗎?”</span></p>

<p>但當他回望來路,答案便清晰起來——那份逐步提升的績點,是他在圖書館里一頁頁啃出來的;那個雅思的分數,是無數個夜晚刷題積累的成果;那些寶貴的實習機會,是經歷了上百次投遞和面試后爭取來的。他的每一步都沒有捷徑,但每一步都走得扎實。</p>

<p><strong>選擇市場營銷,</strong>這個決定,并非是對文科的“叛逃”,而是一次主動的“出擊”。<span style="color: #0086d1;">希望能將哲學塑造的深層邏輯與商科要求的實戰(zhàn)技能相結合,在務實、高效的環(huán)境中,為自己開拓一片更廣闊的天地。</span></p>

<p>看完上面三位同學的經歷,指南君想說,文科跨申方向千千萬,但能<strong>申請成功的同學都有一些共性</strong>:</p>

<p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>1、清晰的規(guī)劃與足夠早的準備:</strong></span>在留學申請中,GPA、語言成績、軟背景是申請的關鍵。H同學和M同學在大二時就確認了留學的意向,從而有充足的時間去提升均分、備戰(zhàn)雅思,并在實習與競賽中作出有方向的選擇。<strong>時間,成為了他們最可靠的盟友。</strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>2、晚申黨,更需要放大自己的優(yōu)勢:</strong></span>T同學由于申請開始得較晚,<strong>在無法改變起點時,要學會放大自己的獨特優(yōu)勢。</strong>他在第一次申請時,因錯過黃金時機、語言成績也未達理想而受挫;但在第二次嘗試中,他不再盲目追隨熱門,而是<span style="color: #0086d1;">回歸自己更有優(yōu)勢的領域,將“少數”變成“稀缺”,機會便自然顯現</span>。</p>
<p> </p>
<p>其實,<strong>無論文科、理科,從來沒有人能憑借一紙文憑定義終局。</strong>真正決定一個人走向的,是他在迷茫中仍不放棄尋找的清醒,是在權衡比較后敢于做出選擇的勇氣,更是將既有條件轉化為個人優(yōu)勢的智慧。</p>
